What Are Organic Haricot Beans?
Organic Haricot Beans are small, oval, plump and creamy-white with a mild flavour and smooth, buttery texture. Organic Haricot Beans are a popular bean as they form the main ingredient of the classic baked beans and go well in a range of delicious recipes like chilli and bean burgers. In the US, they are known as navy beans and are the classic ingredient in Boston baked beans!

Did you know you can sprout these beauties at home, haricot beans sprout within 4-5 days and can be used as a nutritious garnish or side dish.
One 90g serving of cooked haricot beans are high in Protein, Folate and a source of Thiamine (B1), Potassium, Manganese and Copper. Our Organic Haricot Beans are also a good source of fibre.
Instructions For Use:
Fibre-rich protein source. Add to vegetable stews to add texture. To Cook: 1. Rinse beans 2. Soak for 4-6 hours (or overnight). 3. Place in a pot and cover with water above the beans. 4. Boil for 45-60 minutes and ensure that there's always water in the pot. 5. Add more as necessary
Storage Instructions:
Store in a cool dry place, away from direct sunlight, heat and damp. Reseal when no longer in use or move to an airtight container.
